Sittin’ Figgy Shake. Just follow the steps below for 2-4 servings

For a great start to fasting, a Fig Shake at Suhoor (the morning meal before the fast) will boost energy and nourish your body for a healthy and happy fast. This great recipe was submitted by gardener and eco-Muslim Vanessa Mullen from Virginia. Shukran!

Ingredients
• 6 Whole, Fresh Figs, Coarsely Chopped
• 4 Ice Cubes, cracked
• 1 Cup Plain Yogurt
• 1 Tablespoon Honey
• Wheat Germ (for garnish)

Method
1. Combine Ingredients in a blender or food processor and puree.
2. Serve right away.

Yummy Tip: Pair with whole grain bread or toast topped with your favorite nut butter.
